Tally Pricing in 2026: Three Different Numbers for the Same Two Plans, and What Tally Actually Charges

Search "Tally pricing" and third-party listings can't agree on a number. G2's vendor-submitted pricing widget lists Tally Pro at $29/month. TrustRadius lists Tally Free at $0, Tally Pro at $29/month "per user," and Tally Business at $89/month "per user."
Tally's own pricing page, checked the same day, tells a third story: Pro at $24/month and Business at $74/month, flat for the whole team, not per user. Tally's Pro plan explicitly includes "unlimited team members" as a listed feature, which is difficult to square with a per-user price at all.
I pulled Tally's own live pricing page and cross-checked it against G2 and TrustRadius, the two review sites that publish independent pricing data for the product, to see where the numbers disagree. Here's what Tally actually costs, and how it compares to Formbricks, an open feedback and experience management suite.
I believe Tally is the right call if:
- You want a completely free, unlimited-submission form builder for simple intake, registration, or feedback forms
- You value a fast, document-style editing experience (Notion-like inline editing) over deep visual design customization
- EU-based hosting and a straightforward GDPR posture matter to you
It's a weaker fit if:
Captured August 15, 2026 from tally.so/pricing.
- You need a dedicated NPS/CSAT or CX program with journey-based targeting and analytics
- Pixel-perfect, fully custom form design is a hard requirement
- You want deeper analytics than basic drop-off tracking
Because of that, I've included a full comparison with Formbricks later in this breakdown, since structured feedback programs are Formbricks' core product rather than a form-builder add-on.

Tally Pricing at a Glance
| Plan | Price | Billing | What It Actually Buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | N/A | Unlimited forms and submissions (fair use), payments, signatures, file uploads, conditional logic |
| Pro | $24/month | Monthly (annual discount available) | Remove branding, custom domains, unlimited team members, partial submissions, drop-off analytics |
| Business | $74/month | Monthly (annual discount available) | Everything in Pro, plus data retention controls, email verification, 90-day version history |
Source: tally.so/pricing, captured August 15, 2026. Tally's pricing page shows a "Pay yearly, 2 months off" toggle but doesn't display the resulting annual dollar amount as a number.
Three Sources, Three Different Prices for the Same Plans
This is the part a "Tally pricing" search actually runs into. Three different sources publish three different numbers for the same two paid plans.
Tally's own pricing page states Pro at $24/month and Business at $74/month, both flat, team-wide prices. Pro's own feature list includes "unlimited team members," which only makes sense as a flat, not per-seat, price.
G2's vendor-submitted pricing widget lists Tally Pro at $29/month instead, a $5 gap from Tally's own page captured the same day.
TrustRadius goes further, listing "Tally Pro" at $29/month "per user" and "Tally Business" at $89/month "per user," a $15 gap from Tally's own Business price, and a per-user billing model Tally's own pricing page and feature list don't describe anywhere.
| Source | Pro | Business | Billing Model Stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| tally.so/pricing (official) | $24/month | $74/month | Flat, team-wide (unlimited members on Pro+) |
| G2 vendor widget | $29/month | Not listed | Not specified |
| TrustRadius | $29/month | $89/month | "Per user" |
Source: tally.so/pricing, G2, and TrustRadius, all captured August 15, 2026.
The Bottom Line: if you're budgeting for Tally, use the number on tally.so/pricing itself, $24/month Pro and $74/month Business, flat for the whole team. Third-party review sites are showing higher, and in TrustRadius's case per-seat, figures that don't match what Tally itself publishes or what its own feature list describes.
Free Plan: Unlimited Forms and Submissions
Captured August 15, 2026 from tally.so.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $0 |
| Forms and submissions | Unlimited, within Tally's fair use policy |
| Payments, signatures, file uploads | Included, no feature paywall |
| Conditional logic and calculations | Included |
| Hosting | Belgium (EU), GDPR-compliant, no cookie tracking |
The free plan requires no credit card and includes payments, e-signatures, and conditional logic at no cost, a rare combination on a free form-builder tier.
| Free Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ No response cap at any volume (fair use) | ❌ Tally branding shown |
| ✅ Payments, signatures, and file uploads included free | ❌ No custom domain |
| ✅ EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant by default | ❌ Basic analytics only, no drop-off tracking |
The Bottom Line: Tally's free tier is genuinely feature-rich for a $0 plan, unlimited submissions with payments and signatures included, but branding removal and drop-off analytics require Pro.
Pro Plan: $24/Month
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $24/month (per tally.so/pricing; annual discount available, exact annual $ not displayed as a number) |
| Team members | Unlimited |
| Added Features | Remove Tally branding, custom domains, partial submissions, custom CSS, drop-off analytics, form visit analytics, version history (30 days) |
Pro is the first tier with drop-off analytics, arguably the most useful feedback-specific feature Tally offers, and it comes with unlimited team seats included.
| Pro Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Unlimited team members included, no per-seat pricing | ❌ Exact annual price isn't shown as a number on the pricing page |
| ✅ Drop-off analytics and form visit analytics included | ❌ Third-party listings (G2, TrustRadius) show higher prices than this official figure |
| ✅ Custom domain and CSS for on-brand forms | ❌ Data retention controls not included until Business |
The Bottom Line: Pro's $24/month, per tally.so/pricing directly, buys unlimited seats and real analytics, a stronger deal than the $29 figure some review sites list for the same plan.
Business Plan: $74/Month
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $74/month (per tally.so/pricing; annual discount available, exact annual $ not displayed as a number) |
| Added Features | Everything in Pro, plus data retention controls, respondent email verification, 90-day version history |
Business is aimed at organizations with compliance needs: automatic submission deletion after a set period, and email verification for higher-quality leads.
| Business Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Data retention controls for privacy-framework compliance | ❌ Third-party listings (TrustRadius) show $89/month instead of this official $74 figure |
| ✅ Email verification for respondent quality | ❌ Tally itself notes "more Business features" are still in progress |
| ✅ 90-day version history, 3x longer than Pro's 30 days | ❌ No dedicated NPS/CSAT program layer even at this tier |
The Bottom Line: Business's $74/month, straight from Tally's own pricing page, is the number to budget around, not the $89/month figure TrustRadius currently lists.
Where Tally Pricing Falls Short
Third-Party Pricing Listings Don't Match the Vendor's Own Page
- G2's vendor-submitted widget and TrustRadius both list higher prices than tally.so/pricing itself, and TrustRadius frames Tally as per-user pricing when Tally's own Pro plan explicitly includes unlimited team members
- Buyers comparing pricing across review sites risk anchoring on a number Tally itself doesn't charge
Exact Annual Pricing Isn't Shown as a Number
- The pricing page displays a "Pay yearly, 2 months off" toggle label but doesn't show the resulting annual dollar figure directly
- Buyers have to do their own math (10 months' worth of the monthly price) to know what annual billing actually costs
Limited Design Customization
- G2 reviewers describe Tally's design flexibility as limited, with forms largely stuck in a "Notion-style" layout
- Brand-sensitive teams may find the document-style editor restrictive compared to fully custom drag-and-drop builders
Basic Analytics Beyond Drop-Off Tracking
- Reviewers note that analytics are fairly basic, with some exporting data elsewhere for deeper analysis
- More advanced scoring or branching logic (ranked scores, tie-breakers) requires manual workarounds
No Native XM/CX Program Features
- Tally is a lightweight form and survey builder, not a purpose-built NPS, CSAT, or journey-analytics platform
- There's no dedicated program layer for recurring, structured feedback collection, even on Business
Formbricks: An Open Feedback and Experience Management Suite
Formbricks isn't a form builder with survey collection bolted on, and it isn't a pricing page with numbers that shift depending on which review site you check. It's an open source feedback and experience management suite built around three things: feedback management, feedback analytics, and workflows and integrations, published once, in one place.
Feedback Management. Formbricks unifies website surveys, in-app surveys, link surveys, and branded email surveys on one platform, all with full conditional logic available from the free Hobby tier.
Feedback Analytics. Every response flows into one dashboard. Teams can follow individual responses, zoom out for the aggregate view, track drop-off and partial submissions from the start, and segment by custom attributes, capabilities beyond Tally's basic analytics.
Workflows and Integrations. Formbricks Workflows automate what happens after a response comes in. Native integrations connect to Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Google Sheets, and Notion through webhooks and a free, unrestricted API on every tier, including the self-hosted Community Edition.

Formbricks Hobby Plan: Free Forever
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $0 |
| Workspaces | 1 |
| Responses | 250/month |
| API access | Full, including MCP |
| Hosting | Frankfurt, Germany |
Tally's free plan has no submission cap within fair use, a genuine advantage over Formbricks' 250 responses/month free ceiling. Where Formbricks pulls ahead free is a dedicated feedback analytics dashboard with segmentation, beyond Tally's basic free-tier reporting.
| Hobby Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Full API access, no restrictions | ❌ 250 responses/month cap (Tally's free plan has none, within fair use) |
| ✅ Hosted in Frankfurt (EU data residency), matching Tally's EU-hosting posture | ❌ 1 workspace only |
| ✅ Drop-off tracking included free (Tally gates this to Pro) | ❌ Formbricks branding shown |
The Bottom Line: Tally wins outright on free-tier submission volume; Formbricks includes drop-off analytics and full API access free, both gated to a paid tier on Tally.
Formbricks Pro Plan: $89/Month (or $74/Month Billed Annually)
Captured August 15, 2026 from formbricks.com/pricing.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $89/month, or $74/month billed annually ($890/year) |
| Workspaces | 3 |
| Responses | 2,000/month |
| Added Features | Unlimited seats, attribute-based segmentation, remove branding, all integrations |
Coincidentally, Formbricks Pro's annual-billed price ($74/month) matches Tally's own Business plan's monthly price ($74/month) exactly, though the two buy very different things: Formbricks Pro adds attribute-based segmentation and CX-program depth, while Tally Business adds data retention controls and email verification for a lightweight form builder.
| Pro Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Attribute-based segmentation for targeted surveys | ❌ Real cost, versus Tally's $0 free tier |
| ✅ Unlimited team seats included, matching Tally Pro's own unlimited-seat model | ❌ 2,000 response cap (overage available) |
| ✅ Published once, one number per tier, no third-party pricing conflicts | ❌ No document-style (Notion-like) editing mode |
The Bottom Line: Tally is the cheaper form builder; Formbricks is the more complete feedback and experience management platform, at a price that happens to land near Tally's own Business plan.
Formbricks Scale Plan: $390/Month (or $325/Month Billed Annually)
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $390/month, or $325/month billed annually ($3,900/year) |
| Workspaces | 5 |
| Responses | 5,000/month |
| Governance | Teams & access roles, quota management |
| Enterprise add-ons | Feedback unification, AI topic labeling, custom dashboards, two-factor authentication |
The Bottom Line: Scale is Formbricks' highest published, self-serve tier, well beyond what Tally publishes at any tier since Tally has no equivalent governance or AI-labeling layer.
Formbricks Self-Hosting: Community and Enterprise Editions
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Community Edition | Open source, free, unlimited surveys and responses |
| Enterprise Edition | Contact us, adds SSO (SAML/OIDC), multi-language surveys, whitelabel, support SLAs |
| License | AGPLv3 |
| Data Control | Data never leaves your own infrastructure |
Tally is EU-hosted (Belgium) and GDPR-compliant by default, but offers no self-hosting option at any tier; all data lives on Tally's own servers. Formbricks' free, self-hosted Community Edition puts full infrastructure control on any budget, alongside a Frankfurt-hosted Cloud option for teams that want EU hosting without running their own servers.
What Reviewers Say About Tally
Tally holds a 4.9 rating across 141 reviews on G2, spanning the Survey, Online Form Builder, and Event Registration & Ticketing categories. Capterra and TrustRadius review pages weren't drawn on for this breakdown beyond the pricing data cited above.
| Tally Reviews | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Ease of use and an intuitive, document-like interface with a short learning curve | ❌ Design customization is limited, forms are largely stuck in a "Notion-style" layout |
| ✅ Insanely feature-packed for a free tool, with strong conditional logic and fast, responsive support | ❌ Analytics are fairly basic; some users export data elsewhere for deeper analysis |
| ❌ More advanced scoring or branching logic (ranked scores, tie-breakers) requires manual workarounds |
Feature Value Breakdown
Free-Tier Generosity
Tally's Approach: Unlimited forms and submissions within fair use, with payments, signatures, and conditional logic included at no cost.
Formbricks' Approach: Hobby tier caps at 250 responses/month; unlimited on the self-hosted Community Edition.
Value Verdict: Tally wins decisively on raw free-tier submission volume.
Pricing Transparency Across Sources
Tally's Approach: Tally's own pricing page ($24/$74) conflicts with G2's vendor widget ($29) and TrustRadius's per-user figures ($29/$89), a documented three-way discrepancy for the same two plans.
Formbricks' Approach: Every tier, Hobby through Scale, is published once, in one place, with monthly and annual pricing shown together.
Value Verdict: Formbricks wins. This is a direct comparison of what's published where, not a subjective call.
Ease of Use / Time-to-First-Form
Tally's Approach: G2 reviewers repeatedly cite a short learning curve and an intuitive, document-style interface.
Formbricks' Approach: A broader XM feature surface (targeting, segmentation, workflows) that takes longer to configure for a first-time user.
Value Verdict: Tally wins on speed to a first working form; Formbricks trades that speed for more configuration depth.
Experience Management Depth (NPS/CSAT Programs, Analytics)
Tally's Approach: No NPS/CSAT program templates or journey analytics found on tally.so; drop-off tracking is Pro's most advanced feedback-specific feature.
Formbricks' Approach: Feedback analytics (drop-off tracking from the free tier, attribute-based segmentation on Pro) and Formbricks Workflows for automated follow-up are core to the product, not add-ons.
Value Verdict: Formbricks wins decisively. This is Formbricks' core category; it isn't one Tally competes in.

| Experience management program layer | Not offered; general-purpose form builder | Core product: feedback management, analytics, workflows |

| Self-hosting | Not offered at any tier | Community Edition, free, self-hosted, AGPLv3 |
Who Should Actually Use Tally
Tally makes sense if you want a completely free, unlimited-submission form builder for simple intake, registration, or feedback forms, and you value a fast, document-style editing experience over deep design customization.
As an illustrative example, a solo consultant might use Tally's free plan to build a client intake form with conditional logic that routes different question sets based on project type, then pipe submissions into Notion via the native integration. This is a hypothetical scenario based on Tally's own template and integration messaging, not a published customer case study.
It's a weaker fit if you need a dedicated NPS/CSAT or CX program with journey-based targeting and analytics, or pixel-perfect, fully custom form design is a hard requirement.
Tally Pricing FAQ
Final Verdict
👍 Tally is the right call if you want a completely free, unlimited-submission form builder for simple intake, registration, or feedback forms, and a fast, document-style editing experience matters more than deep visual customization. Its free tier is genuinely feature-rich, payments, signatures, and conditional logic included at no cost, and that's a real, earned strength.
👉 Formbricks is the better fit if you're running a structured feedback or CX program rather than a one-off form, want drop-off analytics included free instead of gated behind a $24/month plan, and want pricing published once, in one place, with no discrepancy between the vendor's own page and third-party listings.
The honest read: these solve different problems. Tally is a fast, EU-hosted, genuinely generous free form builder; Formbricks is purpose-built for feedback management, feedback analytics, and workflows as its core product. If your search for "Tally pricing" was really a search for a dedicated feedback platform, see Formbricks' current pricing here, or read our full Tally alternatives breakdown.
