With our small team, we keep working hard to make Formbricks better for everyone: Our community as well as our Enterprise customers. Here are the highlights of Formbricks 3.0:

• Email Follow-ups: 📧 Automatically send custom follow-up emails to your respondents, team mates or yourself
• New "Contact" question type: 📝 Capture and analyze contact information from your surveys.
• AI Insights: 🤖 Public beta for AI Insights generation for free text responses (BYO model on self-hosted)
• Formbricks Wordpress Plugin: 🔌 Embed surveys in your WordPress site with ease, learn more here.
• Teams and Access Rights: 👥 Manage your team and access rights to specific surveys
• Formbricks Helm Chart: ⚓ Deploy Formbricks on Kubernetes
• Advanced Logic: 🧮 Add more complex logic to your surveys
• Variables: 🔢 Add text and numeric variables to keep track of scores, prices, etc.
• Performance: ⚡ Decrease for in-product survey server load by ~80%
• Better filters, templates, and tons of bug fixes.

Formbricks AI coming up!

There is a lot of potential in AI for experience management. With our privacy-first and compliance-first approach, we are working on solutions which can be used in full compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations. Important changes for self-hosters

With Formbricks 3.0, we're also making some strategic changes to the Community Edition for self-hosters. While the Community Edition gets more powerful with every release, we're also moving some advanced features from the free Community Edition to the paid Enterprise Edition.

Why the changes?

We understand that it is frustrating to use functionality for free which then moves behind a paywall - and rest assured, we are not taking anything away from you. Your current version of Formbricks will continue to work and you are welcome to use the Formbricks 2.7.2 Community Edition for free for years to come.

However, to assure the long-term sustainability of Formbricks, we are moving some advanced features to the Enterprise Edition from 3.0 onwards. While we love the idea of e.g. SSO being free, from a company-building perspective it was a strategic mistake, which we are correcting now.

Think about it this way: The better we can monetize larger organizations using Formbricks, the more features we can ship for free. In the coming months and years, we keep shipping more and more features for the Community Edition, like the frequently requested E-mail Follow-Ups in 3.0
