Survicate Pricing in 2026: Every Plan, the Hidden Starter Tier, and a Transparent Alternative

Survicate's pricing page shows exactly three headline cards: Growth, Pro, Enterprise. Scroll down to the plan-comparison table below those cards, though, and a fourth tier appears, Starter, with its own response caps and seat limits, never promoted as its own card. There's also no permanent free plan, only a 10-day trial.

Formbricks open-source feedback and experience management platform

I went through Survicate's live pricing page, its plan-comparison table, third-party buyer-risk research, and review platforms to piece together what each tier actually costs and what's easy to miss. I believe Survicate is the right call if:

  • You need one platform to survey customers across email, website, in-product, and mobile with unified analytics
  • You're comfortable committing to at least a 10-day trial before paying, since there's no forever-free tier
  • Your team already lives in HubSpot and wants identified survey responses updating contact records automatically

It's a weaker fit if:

  • You want a free-forever plan to test the product with zero budget commitment
  • Partial and abandoned responses eating into your paid response allowance would be a dealbreaker
  • You need self-hosting or strict data residency guarantees beyond standard SaaS compliance

Because of that, I've included a full comparison with Formbricks later in this breakdown, since Formbricks publishes a free-forever tier and a self-hosted path that Survicate doesn't offer at any price.

The 10-Day Free Trial: What You Actually Get

Survicate doesn't offer a forever-free tier. Instead, new signups get a 10-day trial with full access to Growth-tier features, capped at 25 survey responses and 100 Research Hub data points.

Free Trial
ProsCons
✅ Full Growth-tier feature access, not a stripped demo❌ Only 10 days before you must choose a paid plan
✅ No credit card required to start❌ Capped at 25 responses total
✅ Human support available during the trial❌ No path to keep using the product for free afterward

The Bottom Line: Ten days is enough to test the builder and a handful of live responses, but it's not enough to run a real survey campaign or evaluate Research Hub against real volume.

Starter: The Plan Survicate's Homepage Doesn't Show You

Survicate's pricing page displays three plan cards: Growth, Pro, Enterprise. A fourth tier, Starter, only appears in the plan-comparison table underneath those cards, and independently, third-party buyer-research site SaaS CRM Review documented it directly from the live pricing page at $89/month for a 100-response allowance, with 250- and 500-response configurations also available at higher prices.

FeatureStarter
PriceFrom $89/month (monthly commitment)
Responses100 / 250 / 500 per month, depending on configuration
Active surveys2
Seats5
Data retention6 months
ExportNot included

Starter sits below Growth on response volume and lacks branding removal, custom end screens, and AI categorization, features that only unlock starting at Growth. It's a real, billable tier, just not one Survicate promotes as a headline option next to Growth, Pro, and Enterprise.

Starter Plan
ProsCons
✅ Lower monthly commitment than Growth ($89 vs. $114)❌ Not shown as a headline pricing card anywhere on the page
✅ Human support included❌ Only 2 active surveys at a time
✅ Company logo branding allowed❌ No CSV/XLSX export at this tier

The Bottom Line: If you only need a couple of always-on surveys and can live without export, Starter is cheaper than Growth. Most buyers never see it as an option because it's buried in a feature table, not a pricing card.

Growth Plan: $114/Month

Captured August 15, 2026 from survicate.com/pricing.

Growth is the entry point among Survicate's three promoted cards, billed annually at $114/month for 250 survey responses and 1,000 Research Hub data points per month.

FeatureDetails
Price$114/month, billed annually
Responses250/month
Data points1,000/month
Seats10 users / 2 teams
Core featuresUnlimited multichannel surveys, built-in email sending, Research Hub, Research Assistant (3 AI chats), 25+ integrations
Growth Plan
ProsCons
✅ Unlimited multichannel surveys (email, web, in-product, mobile)❌ Requires annual billing to get the $114 rate
✅ Research Hub included for consolidating feedback❌ Advanced display logic and JavaScript targeting locked to Pro
✅ 25+ native integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Segment)❌ No CSV/XLSX export, that's Pro and above
✅ 10 user seats across 2 teams❌ Custom branding and CSS still gated to Pro

The Bottom Line: Growth covers a real, ongoing multichannel survey program, but the moment you need export, advanced targeting, or webhooks, you're looking at Pro.

Pro Plan: $349/Month

Pro is available on monthly or annual billing and adds a custom yearly response pool instead of a fixed monthly cap, along with the features Growth leaves out.

FeatureDetails
Price$349/month, billed monthly or annually
ResponsesCustom yearly pool
Dashboards10
Core featuresAdvanced display logic, visual logic tree, multilingual surveys, custom CSS branding, AI follow-up questions, 300 minutes of meeting-recording transcription, Export API, webhooks
Pro Plan
ProsCons
✅ Export API and webhooks for automated data pipelines❌ No fixed monthly response number, custom yearly pool only
✅ Advanced display logic and JavaScript targeting❌ More than 3x the price of Growth
✅ AI follow-up questions and meeting-recording transcription❌ Still requires talking to sales for exact response volume
✅ Custom CSS and custom domain branding❌ Premium integrations (Salesforce, Amplitude, data warehouses) only start here

The Bottom Line: Pro is where Survicate stops being a self-serve survey tool and starts being a research operations platform, with the price tag to match.

Enterprise Plan: $569/Month

Enterprise starts at $569/month on monthly or annual billing and is aimed at buyers with compliance and governance requirements Pro doesn't cover.

FeatureDetails
Price$569/month, billed monthly or annually
ResponsesCustom yearly pool
Core featuresSAML SSO, access logs, HIPAA & DORA support, dedicated Customer Success Manager, custom ToS/DPA/NDA, migration assistance
Enterprise Plan
ProsCons
✅ HIPAA and DORA support for regulated industries❌ Highest published starting price of any tier
✅ SAML SSO and access logs❌ Custom legal terms still require a sales negotiation
✅ Dedicated Customer Success Manager❌ No self-hosting option even at this tier
✅ Migration assistance included❌ Response volume still isn't a fixed, published number

The Bottom Line: Enterprise adds real compliance and governance controls, but like Pendo and Qualtrics' top tiers, you're negotiating a contract, not clicking "buy."

What Actually Counts as a "Response" (and Why It Changes Your Bill)

This is the detail most Survicate pricing pages skip. According to Survicate's own documentation, most partial survey submissions count as a full response, whether the respondent finished the survey or not. There are two narrow exceptions: a submitted Welcome message where the respondent doesn't proceed is visible in analysis but not counted, and a one-page survey only saves once all required questions are answered and submitted.

Live test submissions also count toward your plan's limit. A team that tests a survey in production, rather than using Survicate's Preview mode, can burn paid response capacity before a single real customer answers.

On the Free trial and Starter plans, hitting the response cap stops collection outright rather than billing a surprise overage. Higher tiers support optional overages instead: for the 100-response Starter configuration specifically, a Survicate-owned article documents overages at $0.89 per response, though overage rates for the 250- and 500-response configurations aren't publicly disclosed.

Where Survicate Pricing Falls Short

No Free-Forever Tier

  • The only no-cost option is a 10-day trial capped at 25 responses
  • Buyers comparing against tools with a real free plan must commit to a paid Growth subscription almost immediately
  • There's no way to run a small, ongoing feedback program at zero cost the way Formbricks' Hobby plan allows

A Hidden Fourth Tier

  • Starter exists and is billable at roughly $89/month, but it's never shown as a promoted pricing card
  • Buyers scanning only the three headline cards (Growth, Pro, Enterprise) may never realize a cheaper option exists
  • The plan-comparison table also shows inconsistent labeling between "Starter Monthly" and duplicate Growth-adjacent rows, according to third-party analysis of the live page

Partial Responses Count Against Your Cap

  • Most partial and abandoned submissions still consume a full paid response
  • Live test submissions in production (rather than Preview mode) also count
  • This raises the effective cost per completed, usable response above the sticker price

No Cancellation Refunds

  • Survicate's own policy states no refunds, with paid access running to the end of the billing cycle before reverting to Free
  • After cancellation, surveys are archived and stop collecting, and paid integrations become unavailable
  • There's no documented grace period to recover a collecting survey afterward

No Self-Hosting or Data Residency Path

  • Survicate is SaaS-only, hosted on AWS in Ireland, per its own security documentation
  • Regulated buyers needing on-prem or region-locked deployment have no path with Survicate regardless of budget

Formbricks: An Open Feedback and Experience Management Suite

Formbricks isn't a single-purpose survey tool bolted onto a feedback dashboard. It's an open source feedback and experience management suite built around three things: feedback management, feedback analytics, and workflows and integrations, published transparently on every tier instead of hidden in a comparison table.

Feedback Management. Formbricks unifies website surveys, in-app surveys, link surveys, and branded email surveys on one platform. Where Survicate's multichannel breadth spans email, web, in-product, mobile, and even kiosk mode, Formbricks covers the core channels most feedback programs actually run, without needing a Pro-tier upgrade to unlock export or advanced targeting.

Feedback Analytics. Every response flows into one dashboard regardless of channel. Teams can follow individual responses or zoom out to the aggregate view, track partial and dropped-off submissions transparently, and segment by custom attributes.

Workflows and Integrations. Formbricks Workflows automate what happens after a response comes in. Native integrations connect to Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Google Sheets, and Notion through webhooks and a free, unrestricted API available on every tier, including the self-hosted Community Edition, unlike Survicate, where the Export API and webhooks are gated to Pro and above.

Formbricks Hobby Plan: Free Forever

FeatureDetails
Price$0
Workspaces1
Responses250/month (cloud)

HostingFrankfurt, Germany

Unlike Survicate's 10-day, 25-response trial, Formbricks Hobby has no expiration date. It's a real, permanent free tier with 10x the response allowance of Survicate's entire trial, and full API access from day one.

Hobby Plan
ProsCons
✅ Free forever, not a time-boxed trial❌ 250 responses/month cap
✅ 250 responses/month vs. Survicate's 25-response trial total❌ 1 workspace only
✅ Full API access, no restrictions❌ Formbricks branding shown
✅ Hosted in Frankfurt (EU data residency)❌ No team collaboration features

The Bottom Line: Hobby gives you a genuine ongoing feedback program at zero cost, something Survicate simply doesn't offer at any tier.

Formbricks Pro Plan: $89/month (or $74/month billed annually)

Pro's $89/month monthly rate lands below Survicate's Starter tier ($89/month for only 100 responses) while including 2,000 responses, 3 workspaces, and unlimited seats, features Survicate spreads across Growth and Pro.

Pro Plan
ProsCons
✅ 2,000 responses/month vs. Growth's 250 at a similar price❌ Cloud deployment only at this tier
✅ Unlimited team seats❌ 3 workspaces
✅ Custom webhooks and all integrations included❌ No dedicated SLA yet
✅ Published monthly and annual pricing❌ Attribute targeting only, no CSS-level design customization

The Bottom Line: Pro is where a real, ongoing feedback program lives, at roughly the same starting price as Survicate's hidden Starter tier but with 20x the response volume.

Formbricks Scale Plan: $390/month (or $325/month billed annually)

Data ControlData never leaves your own infrastructure

Survicate is SaaS-only, hosted on AWS in Ireland with no self-hosted or customer-premises deployment option at any tier. Formbricks' Community Edition is free, open source under AGPLv3, and puts your survey data entirely on your own infrastructure, the one path Survicate cannot offer regardless of contract size.

What Reviewers Say About Survicate

Survicate holds a 4.6 rating across 213 reviews on G2, a figure corroborated independently by SaaS CRM Review's own snapshot showing 4.6/5 across 205 reviews on G2, 4.6/5 across 99 reviews on Capterra, and 4.6/5 across 40 ratings on Gartner Peer Insights, all captured mid-2026.

Survicate Reviews
ProsCons
✅ Ease of use and responsive customer support make survey creation straightforward❌ Pricing structure can be restrictive for growing companies
✅ Fast setup for email and link surveys❌ Limited advanced filtering and cross-analysis, reviewers say
✅ AI-powered analysis and multichannel delivery praised across G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius❌ AI-generated report summaries occasionally need double-checking for accuracy

Feature Value Breakdown

Free Tier Generosity

Survicate's Approach: No free-forever plan, only a 10-day trial capped at 25 responses and 100 Research Hub data points.

Formbricks' Approach: A permanent Hobby tier with 250 responses/month and full API access, no expiration date.

Value Verdict: Formbricks wins. This reflects the brief's own dimension rating (Survicate 1/5 stars, Formbricks 5/5 stars): a free-forever tier beats a 10-day trial for any team that wants to test before committing budget.

Multi-Channel Distribution Breadth

Survicate's Approach: Email, website pop-ups, in-product, mobile SDK, iframe embeds, kiosk mode, and QR code distribution, all included from the entry tier.

Formbricks' Approach: Website, in-app, link, and email surveys unified on one platform, covering the core channels most feedback programs run day to day.

Value Verdict: Survicate wins on raw channel breadth (brief rating: Survicate 5/5, Formbricks 4/5). Kiosk mode and QR distribution are genuinely differentiated for in-person and event feedback collection.

Self-Hosting and Data Residency

Survicate's Approach: SaaS-only on AWS in Ireland, with no self-hosted or customer-premises deployment option at any tier or budget.

Formbricks' Approach: A free, self-hosted Community Edition under AGPLv3, plus Formbricks Cloud hosted in Frankfurt for teams that want managed EU hosting.

Value Verdict: Formbricks wins decisively (brief rating: Survicate 1/5, Formbricks 5/5). For any buyer with a data residency requirement, Survicate has no path at any price.

Pricing Transparency

Survicate's Approach: Three of four real tiers are shown as headline cards; the fourth (Starter) is buried in a comparison table, and partial/test responses quietly consume paid allowance.

Formbricks' Approach: Every tier, Hobby through Scale, is published with both monthly and annual pricing shown directly, with no hidden tiers.

Value Verdict: Formbricks wins on clarity. What you see on the pricing page is what you get, with no comparison-table surprises.

Who Should Actually Pay for Survicate

Survicate makes sense if you need one platform to run multichannel surveys (email, web, in-product, mobile) with unified analytics, you're comfortable committing to a paid plan quickly since there's no forever-free tier, and your team already runs on HubSpot and wants identified responses syncing to contact records automatically.

As an illustrative example, a mid-market SaaS CX team might consolidate NPS emails, in-app CSAT, and support-ticket sentiment into Survicate's Research Hub to spot churn themes faster. This is a hypothetical scenario based on the product's stated feature set, not a published customer case study.

It's a weaker fit if you want a free-forever tier to test before paying, you run seasonal or low-volume surveys where partial-response counting would eat into a small allowance fast, or you need self-hosting or data residency guarantees beyond standard SaaS compliance.

Survicate Pricing FAQ

Final Verdict

👍 Survicate is the right call if you need broad multichannel survey coverage, email, website, in-product, mobile, even kiosk mode, unified with a Research Hub for consolidating feedback, and you're comfortable moving quickly to a paid plan since there's no forever-free tier. Reviewers consistently praise its ease of use and multichannel reach, and the HubSpot integration's identified-response loop is a genuine differentiator for lifecycle teams.

👉 Formbricks is the better fit if you want a real free-forever tier instead of a 10-day trial, transparent pricing without a comparison-table surprise like Survicate's hidden Starter plan, and a self-hosted path for data residency that Survicate doesn't offer at any price. Every tier is published in USD with monthly and annual options, and the AGPLv3-licensed Community Edition gives you full ownership of your feedback data.

The honest read: if multichannel breadth (kiosk mode, QR codes, mobile SDK) is your priority, Survicate covers more ground. If a transparent, free-forever starting point and a self-hosted option matter more, see Formbricks' current pricing here.
