Formbricks 4.7: Attribute Data Types, SOC 2 Type II, and Advanced Styling

This month we shipped attribute data types, SOC 2 Type II certification, advanced CSS customization options, better self-hosting tools, and a long list of quality-of-life improvements across v4.7. Here's everything that's new.

Attribute Data Types

We've upgraded how contact attributes are handled by introducing native data types. Instead of treating everything as plain text, the system now automatically detects Dates, Numbers, and Text, storing them in a way that makes your customer segments faster and more reliable at scale.

For example, you can now build a "High-Value Active" segment for users with a balance over $10k who joined >30 days ago and logged in this week.

SOC 2 Type II Compliant

Formbricks is now SOC 2 Type II certified. Our security controls have been independently audited over a sustained period and proven to work consistently.

If your team needs vendors that meet enterprise compliance standards, we've got that covered. You can review our compliance details on our Trust Center.

Advanced Survey Styling

The Look & Feel settings now give you granular control over your survey's appearance. Adjust form styling, card styling, button styling, and input options directly inside your workspace settings.

This makes it straightforward to match surveys precisely to your brand without touching any code in your codebase.

License Status for Self-Hosters

Self-hosted admins can now see their license status directly in the Enterprise settings page and manually trigger a recheck without waiting for the 24-hour cycle.

If the license server is temporarily unreachable, a 3-day grace period keeps your instance running. Failed checks retry more frequently so you're back to normal faster after any outage.
