Fillout Pricing in 2026: The Business/Standard Name Mismatch, Every Plan, and a Feedback-First Alternative

Fillout's pricing page shows four plan cards up top: Free, Starter, Pro, and Business, at $89/month ($75/month billed annually) for the top self-serve tier. Scroll to the detailed feature comparison table just beneath it, on the same page, and that same $89/month plan is labeled "Standard" instead, with every upgrade link on the page pointing to a URL that says upgrade/standard.
I pulled Fillout's live pricing page and G2 review data to see what the plans really cost and where the page's own labeling gets confusing. Here's what Fillout costs, and how it compares to Formbricks, an open feedback and experience management suite.
I believe Fillout is the right call if:
- Your team already lives in Airtable, Google Sheets, or Notion and wants forms that write directly back into those databases
- You want a generous free tier (1,000 responses/month) with unlimited seats and no per-user charges at any tier
- You need complex conditional logic, calculations, or scoring on forms
It's a weaker fit if:
- You need form analytics, drop-off rates, or partial-submission viewing below the top $89/month (or $75/month annual) tier
- You want a dedicated NPS/CSAT/XM program with journey analytics rather than a general-purpose form builder
- You want every plan name on a pricing page to mean the same thing everywhere it appears
Because of that, I've included a full comparison with Formbricks later in this breakdown, since structured feedback programs are Formbricks' core product rather than one use case among many for a general-purpose form builder.

The Business/Standard Naming Mismatch
Fillout's four main pricing cards read Free, Starter, Pro, and Business. Scroll to the detailed "See all features & compare plans" table directly below those cards, on the same page load, and the fourth column header reads "Standard" instead of "Business," listing the identical $75-89/month price point and identical feature set (form analytics, custom domain, custom code, partial submissions, priority support).
Every "Choose plan" link under that Business card also routes to a URL containing upgrade%2Fstandard, confirming the two names refer to the same underlying plan rather than a naming update that only reached part of the page.
The Bottom Line: if you're comparing Fillout's feature table against its pricing cards, "Standard" and "Business" are the same $75-89/month plan. Don't read them as two different tiers.
Free Plan: $0/Month
Captured August 15, 2026 from fillout.com.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $0/month, forever |
| Responses | 1,000/month |
| Seats | Unlimited |
| Forms | Unlimited |
| Max file size | 20 MB |
| Included | 50+ field types, conditional logic, calculations and scoring, Fillout Workflows, most integrations (Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion, webhooks), REST API access |
| Not included | CAPTCHA, custom themes, custom endings, login forms |
The free plan's biggest differentiator is unlimited seats at zero cost, but CAPTCHA (spam protection) is explicitly excluded until Starter.
| Free Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ 1,000 responses/month with unlimited seats | ❌ No CAPTCHA/spam protection |
| ✅ Fillout Workflows and REST API included free | ❌ Fillout branding badge shown |
| ✅ Conditional logic and calculations included, not gated | ❌ No custom themes or endings |
The Bottom Line: Free is genuinely usable for a small team, unlimited seats included, but has no spam protection until you upgrade.
Starter Plan: $15/Month (Billed Annually)
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $15/month billed annually ($180/year), or $19/month billed monthly |
| Responses | 2,000/month |
| Seats | Unlimited |
| Added Features | CAPTCHA, premium field types, login forms, custom themes, custom endings, redirect on completion, Calendly scheduling, collect signatures |
Starter is where CAPTCHA and login forms first appear, alongside real branding controls (custom endings, logo, redirect on completion).
| Starter Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ CAPTCHA and login forms unlocked | ❌ Still no custom domain or custom fonts |
| ✅ 2x the response cap of Free | ❌ Custom share preview and favicon not included |
| ✅ $4/month more if billed monthly instead of annually | ❌ No form analytics or drop-off tracking yet |
The Bottom Line: Starter fixes Free's biggest gap, spam protection, at a genuinely low $15/month annual price.
Pro Plan: $40/Month (Billed Annually)
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $40/month billed annually ($480/year), or $49/month billed monthly |
| Responses | 5,000/month |
| Seats | Unlimited |
| Added Features | Custom emails, remove all branding, custom share links, custom fonts & favicon, custom CSS, white-label emails |
Pro removes all Fillout branding and adds custom CSS and fonts, the tier most design-conscious teams land on.
| Pro Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ All Fillout branding removed | ❌ Still no custom domain |
| ✅ Custom CSS, fonts, and favicon | ❌ No form analytics, drop-off rates, or partial submissions |
| ✅ White-label emails included | ❌ $9/month more if billed monthly |
The Bottom Line: Pro is the design-and-branding tier, but analytics stay locked to the tier above regardless of how polished your form looks.
Business Plan: $75/Month (Billed Annually)
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $75/month billed annually ($900/year), or $89/month billed monthly |
| Responses | Unlimited |
| Seats | Unlimited |
| Added Features | Form analytics & conversion tracking, drop-off rates, view partial submissions, custom domain, custom code, Meta Pixel, priority support, pre-fetch data |
| Note | Labeled "Business" on the pricing cards, "Standard" in the feature comparison table on the same page |
Business is the first (and only self-serve) tier with any analytics at all: conversion tracking, drop-off rates, and the ability to view partial (abandoned) submissions.
| Business Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Unlimited responses | ❌ $14/month more than Pro just to reach analytics |
| ✅ Only self-serve tier with drop-off/analytics data | ❌ $89/month if billed monthly |
| ✅ Custom domain and custom code | ❌ Plan name is inconsistent across the same pricing page |
The Bottom Line: if analytics or a custom domain matter, Business (or "Standard," depending which part of the page you're reading) is the only self-serve tier that has them.
Enterprise Plan: Custom
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | Custom, contact sales |
| Added Features | Everything in Business, SSO, 1,000,000+ database records, unlimited workflow runs, audit logs, dedicated support, unlimited revision history, custom agreements & SLAs |
The Bottom Line: Enterprise is where SSO, audit logs, and true dedicated support live, standard territory for a custom-priced top tier.

Where Fillout Pricing Falls Short
The Same Plan Has Two Names on One Page
- The pricing cards call the top self-serve tier "Business"
- The feature comparison table directly below, on the same page load, calls it "Standard"
- Every upgrade URL for that tier also reads
upgrade/standard
Analytics Are Gated to the Top Self-Serve Tier
- Form analytics, conversion tracking, drop-off rates, and partial-submission viewing are all exclusive to Business/Standard ($75-89/month)
- Free, Starter, and Pro users have no visibility into where respondents abandon a form
A Documented Mobile Upload Bug
- A verified G2 reviewer reported that file uploads with multiple images crash mobile browsers, causing lost submissions
- Per the same review, this reliability issue was reported to the vendor without a documented fix
Pricing Runs Higher Than Category Peers, Per Reviewers
- G2's own AI-generated review summary notes pricing "can be on the higher side for the features offered"
- Data visualization and analytics are separately described as "basic" by at least one reviewer, even at the tier where they exist
No Native XM/Experience-Management Layer
- Fillout is a general-purpose form, survey, and quiz builder, not a dedicated feedback or NPS/CSAT program platform
- There's no closed-loop feedback workflow or CX-specific analytics at any tier
Formbricks: An Open Feedback and Experience Management Suite
Formbricks isn't a database-connected form builder with survey collection as a side use case. It's an open source feedback and experience management suite built around three things: feedback management, feedback analytics, and workflows and integrations, published transparently on every tier, with no naming inconsistencies to reconcile.
Feedback Management. Formbricks unifies website surveys, in-app surveys, link surveys, and branded email surveys on one platform. Where Fillout's strength is writing form data into Airtable, Sheets, and Notion, Formbricks is purpose-built for structured feedback programs like NPS, CSAT, and PMF tracking.
Feedback Analytics. Every response flows into one dashboard from the free tier onward, not gated to the top self-serve plan. Teams can follow individual responses, zoom out for the aggregate view, track partial and dropped-off submissions, and segment by custom attributes.
Workflows and Integrations. Formbricks Workflows automate what happens after a response comes in. Native integrations connect to Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Google Sheets, and Notion through webhooks and a free, unrestricted API available on every tier, including the self-hosted Community Edition.

Formbricks Hobby Plan: Free Forever
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $0 |
| Workspaces | 1 |
| Responses | 250/month |
| API access | Full, including MCP |
| Hosting | Frankfurt, Germany |
Fillout's free plan includes more raw response volume (1,000/month vs Formbricks' 250/month), but Formbricks includes drop-off tracking and feedback analytics from the free tier, something Fillout gates to its top $75-89/month plan.
| Hobby Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Drop-off and analytics tracking included free | ❌ 250 responses/month, fewer than Fillout's free 1,000 |
| ✅ Full API access, no restrictions | ❌ 1 workspace only |
| ✅ Hosted in Frankfurt (EU data residency) | ❌ No database-record sync equivalent to Fillout's Airtable/Notion integration |
The Bottom Line: Fillout wins on raw free-tier response volume; Formbricks includes feedback analytics that Fillout only unlocks at its highest self-serve price point.
Formbricks Pro Plan: $89/Month (or $74/Month Billed Annually)
Captured August 15, 2026 from formbricks.com/pricing.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $89/month, or $74/month billed annually ($890/year) |
| Workspaces | 3 |
| Responses | 2,000/month |
| Team Collaboration | Unlimited seats |
| Audience | Respondent identification, contact and segment management, attribute-based segmentation |
| Automation | All integrations, email follow-ups, custom webhooks, iOS/Android SDKs, AI translations |
Formbricks Pro's $74/month annual rate lands almost exactly on Fillout's Business/Standard tier ($75/month annual), but Formbricks includes attribute-based targeting and structured feedback analytics as core features, not a database-sync layer.
| Pro Plan | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Attribute-based segmentation for targeted surveys | ❌ Fewer raw responses/month than Fillout Business at a similar price |
| ✅ Unlimited team seats included | ❌ Cloud deployment only at this tier |
| ✅ One consistent tier name across the entire pricing page | ❌ No native Airtable/Notion two-way sync |
The Bottom Line: at a near-identical price point, Fillout wins on raw response volume; Formbricks wins on feedback-specific targeting and analytics depth.
Formbricks Scale Plan: $390/Month (or $325/Month Billed Annually)
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price | $390/month, or $325/month billed annually ($3,900/year) |
| Workspaces | 5 |
| Responses | 5,000/month |
| Governance | Teams & access roles, quota management |
| Enterprise add-ons | Feedback unification, AI topic labeling, custom dashboards, two-factor authentication |
The Bottom Line: Scale is Formbricks' highest published, self-serve tier, with governance features (access roles, quota management) Fillout doesn't publish at any self-serve price point.
Formbricks Self-Hosting: Community and Enterprise Editions
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Community Edition | Open source, free, unlimited surveys and responses |
| Enterprise Edition | Contact us, adds SSO (SAML/OIDC), multi-language surveys, whitelabel, support SLAs |
| License | AGPLv3 |
| Data Control | Data never leaves your own infrastructure |
Fillout is SOC 2 Type II compliant with encryption in transit and at rest, but offers no self-hosted deployment option at any tier. Formbricks' free, self-hosted Community Edition puts full data control on any budget, with a managed Frankfurt-hosted Cloud option for teams that don't want to run their own servers.
What Reviewers Say About Fillout
Fillout holds a 4.6 rating across 30 reviews on G2, in the Online Form Builder category.
| Fillout Reviews | |
|---|---|
| Pros | Cons |
| ✅ Ease of use and robust integration capabilities, especially with Airtable and Notion | ❌ Pricing can be on the higher side for the features offered, per G2's AI review summary |
| ✅ Extremely flexible for event registrations, intake forms, and complex workflows | ❌ A reviewer reported file uploads with multiple images crash mobile browsers, causing lost submissions |
| ❌ Data visualization and analytics capabilities described as basic by one reviewer |
Fillout's own pricing page also features a named customer testimonial from Fairfax County's Election Manager describing the product as "more robust, more flexible" than other form builders the county tried, though this is a vendor-selected quote rather than an independent review sample.
Feature Value Breakdown
No-Code Database Integrations
Fillout's Approach: Native two-way sync with Airtable, Google Sheets, and Notion, including updating existing records, cited repeatedly by G2 reviewers as the product's standout strength.
Formbricks' Approach: Connects to spreadsheets and databases via webhooks, Zapier, Make, and n8n rather than a native two-way sync.
Value Verdict: Fillout wins decisively. This is Fillout's signature differentiator.
Free-Tier Response Volume
Fillout's Approach: 1,000 responses/month free, with unlimited seats at every tier.
Formbricks' Approach: 250 responses/month free (cloud), with unlimited responses on the self-hosted Community Edition.
Value Verdict: Fillout wins on cloud free-tier volume; Formbricks wins for teams willing to self-host.
Feedback Analytics and Drop-Off Tracking
Fillout's Approach: Form analytics, conversion tracking, and drop-off rates are exclusive to the $75-89/month Business/Standard tier, unavailable on Free, Starter, or Pro.
Formbricks' Approach: Drop-off and partial-response tracking are included from the free Hobby tier.
Value Verdict: Formbricks wins. Analytics depth is core to the product at every price point, not a top-tier unlock.
Experience Management Depth
Fillout's Approach: No dedicated NPS/CSAT program, journey targeting, or CX-specific analytics found on fillout.com.
Formbricks' Approach: Purpose-built for structured feedback programs, with attribute-based targeting and Formbricks Workflows for post-response automation.
Value Verdict: Formbricks wins decisively. Fillout doesn't compete in this category.

Who Should Actually Pay for Fillout
Fillout makes sense if your team already lives in Airtable, Notion, or Google Sheets and wants forms that write directly back into those tools, you want a generous free tier with unlimited seats, and your forms rely on complex conditional logic or calculations.
As an illustrative example, an operations team at an events company might use Fillout to build a multi-page registration form that writes directly into an Airtable base, auto-generating a confirmation PDF for each registrant. This is a hypothetical scenario built from Fillout's own Airtable-integration messaging and customer testimonials, not a verified published case study.
It's a weaker fit if you need form analytics or drop-off tracking below the $75-89/month top tier, your forms rely heavily on mobile file uploads at volume given the reported crash bug, or you need a dedicated NPS/CSAT program rather than a general-purpose form builder.
Fillout Pricing FAQ
Final Verdict
👍 Fillout is the right call if your team already lives in Airtable, Notion, or Google Sheets and you want forms that write directly back into those tools, unlimited seats at every tier, and a generous free plan. Reviewers consistently back up its integration depth and flexibility.
👉 Formbricks is the better fit if your actual job is running a structured feedback program, not a database-connected form, and you want feedback analytics and drop-off tracking included from the free tier rather than gated to a $75-89/month plan, one consistent name for every tier, and a self-hosted path for full data control.
The honest read: these solve different problems. Fillout is a flexible, database-first form builder; Formbricks is purpose-built for feedback management, feedback analytics, and workflows as its core product. If your search for "Fillout pricing" was really a search for a dedicated feedback platform, see Formbricks' current pricing here.
