This release is about reach, cleaner data, and less friction. You can now collect survey responses without a network connection, randomize multi-choice options to reduce response bias, and find what you need in long lists without scrolling.
Offline support for link surveys
Link surveys now work without a network. Responses queue on the device and sync when the connection comes back.
A field researcher on a tablet in a rural clinic. A respondent filling out a survey on a plane. A customer on a spotty hotel connection. None of them lose their answers anymore.
No lost responses, no retries to chase down, no "please try again" messages.

Choice rotation for multi-choice questions
Randomize the order of options, with the option to pin the last choice. Useful when you have a "None of the above" or "Other" that should stay at the bottom.
People tend to pick the first option they see. Rotating the order cancels that out, so your brand preference surveys, concept tests, and feature prioritization questions produce cleaner data.
Searchable dropdowns across the app
Every long dropdown in Formbricks is now searchable. Start typing to filter, instead of scrolling through 30 languages or 50 countries.
Picking a language, a timezone, a region, it all gets faster.
More QoL improvements and fixes in v4.9.0
- Estonian joins the list of supported survey languages.
- Terms URL can now be added to link survey footers in self-hosted setups.
- Survey and response dates now render in your local format.
- Segment modal shows an activity summary, so you can see where a segment is used before editing it.
- Webhook rows now show which surveys trigger them.
